About Us
Helping communities thrive – one healthy meal at a time.
Who We Are
Back to Eden’s Kitchen is a healthy cookery and wellness initiative based in Lancashire. We believe everyone deserves access to good food, practical skills, and simple tools to support a healthy lifestyle—regardless of income, ability, or background.
We run free and low-cost plant-based cooking classes, food workshops, and informal health education sessions that help people build confidence in the kitchen, make the most of what they have, and take small steps toward better wellbeing.
Our sessions are relaxed, inclusive, and hands-on, supporting individuals who may be facing food insecurity, social isolation, or health challenges.
Whether you’re learning how to cook for the first time, curious about a plant-based diet, or simply looking to eat more healthfully on a budget, we’re here to support you—one healthy meal at a time.

Meet the Founder
Back to Eden’s Kitchen was founded by Alina Belousova, a plant-based chef and healthy living educator with over 8 years of experience in catering, community health programmes, and ethical food ventures. Her past work includes running a vegan dessert business and an organic veg box scheme.

Alina started this initiative after seeing first-hand how many people lacked the skills, support, or confidence to cook healthy meals at home. Her mission is to create welcoming spaces where people can reconnect to real food and learn to live in tune with their bodies.
What we offer

Cooking workshops
Our workshops blend presentation, demonstration and group cooking into one, creating an immersive experience. In this class you’ll dive deep into a specific cooking subject (e.g. fermentation or bread baking), prepare the food and take it home.

Cook & eat sessions
This is a group cooking activity where you’ll learn basic cooking skills and techniques under the guidance of an experienced chef. At the end everyone sits down at the table to rest, enjoy the meal and have a chat.

Health Talks
Our health presentations are free to attend and designed to empower you to live a long and happy life. Each presentation is about 1hr long, followed by a Q&A and a healthy light dinner. Everyone is welcome!
How You Can Help
